Ivan wins Irish Print Manager of the Year Award The first ever Irish Print Manager of the Year award has been awarded to Upper Case General Manager, Ivan Lavelle. Ivan received the award at the recently held Annual Irish Print Awards ceremony in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin. MC for the night, RTE's Colm Murray, said that the panel of judges, made up of IBEC and The Print & Packaging Federation experts, had commented on Ivan's exceptional record of achievement in steering Upper Case to a market leading position in their sector. There was special mention also for the remarkable haul of Irish Print Awards Collected by Upper Case in the past 8 years, covering an unprecedented three categories.

Rally programme takes podium position Designed and digitally printed by Upper Case, the Kinsale International Classic Rally programme has been judged to be among the top 3 digital print jobs of 2008, by a panel of industry experts. The programme which contained 4 different paper stocks, a DVD and required specialist binding was printed on 3 different digital presses, reflected the technical complexity of it's production. Organisers of the prestigious 4 day event which attracts some of the very best classic cars from Ireland, the UK and Europe were delighted with the news and said that it mirrored the feedback from entrants, who had remarked on the exceptional quality of the publication.
